Nitrobenzene (Lila Cardozo)

A reaction of benzene with nitric acid to form nitrobenzene.

By treating tertiary amines with alkaline KMnO4 this gives tertiary nitro compounds. Only with tertiary amines. Alfredo Villalobos-Perez
