Aldehyde Synthesis from Primary Alcohol -- (Zixu Wang)

The reaction needs a basic condition provided by pyridine. Otherwise, the reaction will proceed to form carboxylic acid.

Acetaldehyde (Imany Noel)

A reaction of 3,5-dimethyl-1,2,4-trioxolane with dimethyl sulfide to form acetaldehyde.
